Blog Names & Choices

As usual, the first challenge in starting a blog is to arrive at a name. As usual you think of few things and see if they are available. Some of my choices were now.

One of teh logical choice after starting a blog called Thriving in Ambiguity is to have a similar name, hence my first choice was
"Thriving in Chaos"
which fortunately or unfortunately was not available.
There were other choices with similar logic but i finally thought
"Thriving in Fallacy" would be appropriate, especially in the current context.

The previous name Thriving in Ambiguity was more a statement which I remembered from a conversation which I had with an ex boss of mine who said, in order to work in this organization you should learn to thrive in ambiguity, and how true it was.

After spending more than a decade with the same organization, things took a turn for the worse and things started moving from ambiguity to Chaos.
It would not be difficult to guess the name of the organization, which was and is in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Though Chaoitc was what the situation was for sometime, since some one else beat me to the blog name, my next suitable choice was "Thriving in Fallacy".

The choice of name was through a series of googling and link hopping in the web, but is very true of the fact that I have been working not in ambiguity but in a fallacy all along.

This experince has also made me think and lots of interesting things came to my mind, amongst many it made me realize the following

• Everything is Maya
• You are insignificant in the larger scheme of things
• Insecurity is life

and above all, who are the true friends and family.

From that of a light hearted blog, some how it has turned very heavy and philisophical... hope its not the same going forward.
